can you study by yourself at home by reading books, and schedule an exam ?or you have to take courses at local IT schools?what i mean asking is is there only one book per certificate or series of them that you have to order to study at home..My financial condition is that strong at this moment that i can spend 5-6k to attend local IT school..I did have programming background (c, C , Java, C#).so was wondering if i can study at home, and give exam at their testing locations..please let me know if this is possible? please also recommend book..

Jun 10th
I recently have been studying for the cisco ccna 801 course.
A new test comes out Nove 6 with new material. Will it be that much different than the old test where i need to start a whole new platform to study from or can i just add on a few topics like wireless and security.

CCENT/CCNA Training camp?
Jun 10th
I currently have my AAS in electronics engineering technology, but would like to increase my chances of landing a better job. I would like to get my cisco certification.
Can someone tell me how long this course is, price, and if you need to pay for the exams you need to take?
Has anyone taken a “Traning camp” course on this (www.trainingcamp.com) and is it worth it. I was just laid off and do not have much money to live on, so would like to try and take and pass this course to help me find a job. Any helpful tips will be appreciated.
I wish I had the time to take college courses, but since I travel (when I did work), its hard to do and I don’t think I can read the “how to” books on my own without being overwhelmed and patient enough to sit and read everything.
What kind of certificate do you get after completing a college course? Can the responder send me an e-mail? I have a few more questions to ask you.
Thanks
